Children and Nature
The Children & Nature Network was created to encourage and support people and organizations working nationally and internationally to reconnect children with nature. Their website Children and Nature offers parents, youth, civic leaders, educators, and health-care providers access to the latest news and research as well as practical advice. Among the publications available is a community action guide for helping to implement programs for local groups or schools.

Small Animal Repellent
Rabbits, chipmunks, and squirrels are cute animals until they start creating havoc in your garden. The most effective way to deal with these animals is by applying a repellent. There are two products, each with a different method of repelling, that are effective. My advice would be to alternate the products. Shake-Away Small Animal Repellent is a granular product that utilizes predator urine, specifically that of fox. Critter Ridder is available both as granules and as a spray. It uses oil of black pepper, piperine, and capsaicin. Both are safe to use around pets and do not harm the wildlife.
