'Kent Beauty' Ornamental Oregano
My friend Joyce has the very attractive ornamental oregano Origanum rotundifolium 'Kent Beauty' growing in a pot on her patio. The pinkish green flowers are large (1-1/2 inch) and resemble hops both in size and shape. The blooms are abundant, covering the entire plant. As the flowers fade they turn a soft purple color. It's a very attractive plant that's available in nurseries now.
