Clever Gardening Technique

Watering Wizard
The very best way to water indoor plants is to submerge the entire pot in a deep basin. Watering by this method hydrates the whole root system and prevents root rot because roots are not sitting in standing water for very long. Allow the potted plants to soak in the basin for no longer than 1/2 hour, drain and replace to their regular spot. Add a few drops of liquid fertilizer to the basin every other time you water.
