Clever Gardening Technique

Attract Pollinators
As salad greens bolt and go to flower, they become bitter, so harvest and share or freeze. Allow a few plants to flower during the transition to warm-season gardens. Greens feature pretty yellow blooms that attract pollinators, which may hang around to pollinate your warm season peppers, tomatoes and squash.
