Razzle Dazzle Crape Myrtles
Who said we can't grow crape myrtles in USDA Zones 7 and even 6b? The mounded, compact Razzle Dazzle series does quite well in Philadelphia and nearby suburban gardens. The cultivars in this series are noted for their dwarf habit, good disease resistance, and excellent flower colors. One caveat: These are slow to green up in spring. Don't pull them out if they look dead in April or May. Leaves will unfurl as summer heats up.
