AHS River Farm Opening
Good news for gardeners who work during the week. River Farm, headquarters of the American Horticultural Society, is now open on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. as well as from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Located on the banks of the Potomac River in Alexandria, Virginia, just minutes from Washington, D.C., this 18th century estate offers numerous display gardens geared toward demonstration plantings and home gardener education as well as lovely scenic views of the river and natural areas.
