Brooklyn Botanic Garden
The Brooklyn Botanic Garden website is not only beautiful, but also filled with helpful advice. In the "Gardening Information" section you'll find articles on a wide range of topics, including pest problems specific to the northeast. My favorite feature is Plants in Bloom, which contains a list of the plants currently in bloom, and, at the bottom of the page, a calendar so you can find what blooms in different months of the year -- a great help when it comes to planning the garden!
