Wow, this year sure came fast. Hope you all have an amazing new year, 2020.
Here it is January 3 and I got to work outside in the raised beds all day today. It was 54° out.
It is so interesting to browse through the beds and see which semps show no sign of rain/cold damage. Some are a big surprise, like this LeClair's Hybrid #1. Very velvety in texture, and absolutely no rotten leaves.
A new one for me is 'Fata Morgana', and it is taking all the weather in stride.
I decided to see if Aloe aristata would survive our winter/spring season. So far so good, it has been down to 19° early in December. That is a 'Lynn's Rose Gold' offset growing by it.
Another newer one for me. 'Rhubarb Crumble'.
Can you see your semps this time of year?
