Saw this in Mexico last week and knew it was going home with me. I will look gorgeous hanging in the pergola this coming summer. Plan on getting a solar light to put inside of it.

There are some small ones on ebay, but I don't think any of them are as big as hers.

Yeah, and I think the ones on Amazon are more expensive. I paid $211.00 for it. The SU didn't get me anything for Christmas or my birthday..........this is it. We figure that at some point we'll each find something we really want, so will get it and not give gifts at Christmas time.

I avoid ebay like the plague.

Wouldn't it be nicer in the pergola? I would love seeing it there. We have a sunroom, but a thing that large wouldn't look right. How big is your sunroom?

Oh my, that is really nice! I'd want it in the sun room too ... maybe find an old floor lamp with the extended arm type thingy, remove old lampshade and hang it?

We'd have to hang it from the ceiling somehow in the sunroom. It's tall (the sunroom)......see pic.

I agree. Would it fit between the fans? I'm sure something could be rigged up to hold it. Maybe a light chain?

Hmmm............maybe some of you haven't seen the sunroom project...........I'll see if I can find the link. And the pergola link. And before any of you ask, no we did NOT build them ourselves. We'd have killed each other. The greenhouse project was bad enough. LOL The same builder did the sunroom and pergola.

Ok, this is the pergola project thread. Other than my initial post, it doesn't really "get going" till page 2. And if you have all seen it before, sorry. Whistling

Karen, he mostly builds houses and does big farm building jobs. He said the sunroom and pergola were the first of both of those he has built.
