I was poking around and pulled down Learning Library. From there I went to the Weed Library. Didn't see what I wanted but noticed that a new member posted a question there. Are there any moderators for the Learning Library and/or the Weed Library?

I think that 'someone' might suggest that the new member ask the question in the AAQ forum or move it for her/him. (And don't look at me because I don't know how it's done.) Just don't want a new member to think that we are ignoring her/him.

Without a link I can't even begin to find it. Shrug!

Well, I clicked on the first pictured weed, is this the one you meant?
The thread "Annual bluegrass" in Annual Bluegrass

@dave, where do these posts actually land? Maybe some different option can be implemented so that any questions from those features actually go to a well populated forum like AAQ as suggested

I followed Sue's link and answered the question (I hope). @tx_flower_child all you need to do is scroll down a bit from the latest post in a thread and underneath there are seven options, one of which is "Suggest a Change", select that and then go from there to indicate which forum you'd like it moved to.

That works for the normal forums, but I've seen inappropriate questions in odd areas like the knowledge base, and those options weren't available.

And if no one is even looking at that area, we may never see these posts.
Also, I would love to move some random threads into the AAQ forum but it's set up a bit differently so it's not an option from the drop down forum list.

The "Suggest a Move" option is available for this particular one in Sue's link, though. But I do agree it would be good to have a better way of noticing these.

Sorry, y'all. Didn't mean to skip out on this. I didn't know that I should have provided a link. (Duh.) I'll find the question and see if I can suggest a change. Assuming that I can, what happens after that? Does someone else have to approve my suggestion? And is the member notified?

Ok. I'll try and see what happens.

Here's the link The thread "Untitled" in Morning Glory

I hit 'suggest a change', but I didn't see the option to move to another forum. I saw 'change subject' and a few other options. Am I missing something?

They posted in a wrong place for their question and since it's not in a forum, there is no option to move to another forum.Only Dave can do that.

I've noticed several different people ending up asking their questions in the wrong places. I guess Dave will have to take care of them.

I didn't realize the "Suggest a Change" there did not give the option to move to a forum. I should have checked that before I posted above. I just assumed it worked like the other "Suggest a Change" feature but while it's there it is much more limited in what can be suggested. Sorry about that D'Oh! *Blush*

Well it does say in the instructions of 'suggest a change' that among other things one could suggest moving to another forum. Just no way to do it.

Would it help if I literally answer the question by suggesting she post it again in AAQ?

To link from your phone, hold your finger one the website heading, it brings up a menu, choose copy (select all) and hold finger down where you want to paste and select that option.
At least that's how my phone works. When I first got it, I had to Google the directions.

Just getting back to my computer. Worked so hard today that I needed a nap. (Aww. Poor me.)

So I replied to the new member that she should ask her question in the Plant ID forum and gave her the link to it. I explained that it would get more attention there and although I couldn't ID the plant, I bet someone else could.

Hope that's what I was supposed to do.

The one in the Morning Glory subject? I just clicked the link you provided above and it's still there.
