I just discovered this site, and can see that there are several of you from the Gardenweb Forum. I'm Sara-Ann on there.

I've been growing roses for a little over thirty years and while I used to grow mostly Hybrid Teas, with an occasional Floribunda, I'm now growing more types, and I enjoy them all. I still have more HT's though.

Some of my favorites are LIEBESZAUBER, BEVERLY, TIFFANY,, PINK PEACE, SUNSPRITE, MME ERNEST CALVAT, ALOHA and many, many more! Haven't figured out yet how to put a caption with the picture.

I'm sort of here under the radar Sarah Ann! I love your Aloha and wouldn't mind seeing more of it. Mine is yet to go in the ground but I do like it.

Welcome, Merlena. Hope you'll be very happy here. Your photos are lovely. Please don't hesitate to ask questions about the workings of the site. If you know the names of the roses in your photos, you can add them to the database, which will turn your photos into windowbox frames with the name included. Just click on your photo in this thread to enlarge it, then click on the blue icon in the middle of the bottom of the frame. That will take you to a new page asking for the name of the plant. Just follow the instructions to import the photo. Your proposal will have to be approved by a moderator, but that shouldn't take too long.

You can't plant your new favorite rose if you are still watering your least favorite

Thank you everyone! Vaporvac, I'm hoping my Aloha does good in 2019 so I can post some new pictures of it.

Zuzu, thanks so much, hopefully I can get it all figured out.

Jerijen, I live in North Central Oklahoma, about 60 miles west and a little north of Tulsa.

Kris and Carol, just keep calling me Sara Ann.

The roses in order are Liebeszauber, Pink Peace, Sunsprite, Tiffany, Beverly, MME Ernest Calvat, and Aloha.

Carol, yes the yellow one is Sunsprite, the blooms can be quite lovely, and they're so fragrant. All of these varieties are fragrant, but Liebeszauber is more fragrant when the temps are cooler.

Carol, I love Belinda's Dream, most of the time. Occasionally, when there has been lots of rain, the blooms ball up, that hasn't been a big issue though, usually they're gorgeous!

Sara Ann - wowza!!!! Lovey dubby That's a gorgeous shrub!!! I seem to recall that I didn't get a single bloom in 2 years... If It had been like yours...well different outcome, that's for sure! What do you think of the fragrance?
Sooo beautiful!

I'm glad you found this site too! You will see some familiar "faces" here. You have one of the prettiest Belinda's Dream too. And I also love seeing your Souvenir da la Maisson, you truly have a knack for growing some gorgeous roses and I'm looking forward to seeing you post lots of pics!

Thanks again everyone! Carol, my BD has only a light fragrance, but I think it's more fragrant for most.

Zuzu, I'm glad the foliage on this one stays clean for the most part, especially since I don't spray.

Bonnie, I've missed communicating with my fellow rose enthusiasts, thank you for the kind words. I feel like I'm still a novice compared to some of you, I've learned so much from so many though. It makes growing roses more enjoyable than ever.

Some Souvenir de la Malmaison blooms just for you! I love that rose too.

Oh my goodness.....be still my heart. I love SDLM too and very sad to say a armadillo killed mine at the end of summer by rooting around it looking for worms and whatever else they eat, I tried to trap the damn thing but never could. I will definitely be replacing SDLM this spring. It's my most favorite rose!
