Oooh...sounds like somebody is going over the edge to....Possibility.
Not sure how many people over where you are need to cooperate to help you "for-sake sanity" but I am counting on seeing you both later in the year if all the people/pieces don't fall into place...

Our beloved Duke is fighting a holy war with the evil acute lymphoblastic leukemia right now.
We know how this ends; we just don't know when Sad
We'll give him every varmint hunting day he can take!

Big hug Dirt and Asa. I've been taking allergy shots for 3 years so one day I can have a dog. I love them and they love me but I can't live with one. The neighbor's cat comes to visit every day and he gets a lot of attention from me as well as more treats than ANY cat should have.

Did buy a new camera. All my old lens work on the new one so all I had to buy was a new back. It looks as though the electronics and features have improved too. They wouldn't sell me the show model so I have a new one coming tomorrow. YEHAW!

UGLY day here in Salem. Although it didn't snow at my place it is all around the rest of the town at any altitude.

It literally snowed here all day, non stop. If it had been colder we would be knee deep by now. It really was pretty, just didn't stick.

I remember, Bev! Yes, we're not leaving until the 30th. We have a friend who used to live in Salem and moved to Gearhart beach. We plan to run up to see him.

I've been wanting to come to this clinic ever since I first discovered it last winter. However a rather inserpassible scheduling conflict existed for me:
Some of you might know that I am a Sculptor working primarily in ceramics. Three years ago while struggling to find a sellable item that would be fun to make and monetarily attainable to the masses I began sculpting hardy succulent planters that resembled rock formations. I called the line of products "Geological Forms", and they now account for the bulk of my art sales. The last weekend of April is the largest ceramics trade show in the NW (some say the nation) and since it's the clay that got me hooked on semps I just couldn't justify the opportunity cost of not participating.

However at a meeting last night I managed to shift my responsibilities to the show off of Friday, and possibly Saturday. I'd really love to meet the good folks of the Hybridizing Clinic and it is with great enthusiasm that I'd like to request that my name be added to the list for those days. I have a concert scheduled for Friday night so it is likely I won't be able to attend either of the dinners (much as I'd like to). At the moment I plan to commute from Portland with planters to sell Friday, and come back the next day to witness the seedling judging, possibly leaving earlier than most to get back to the clay conference.
Hope you can fit me in those days.
-Sol Zimmerdahl
