The subtle color blend is entrancing; that's my favorite shade of yellow at the base; and diamond dusting to boot! I like it! And, now that I see 12-3B and 13-10A close together, they sure do complement each other, don't they...sigh... Smiling

Debra love your name suggestions!

20 below zero right now here, that's actual temperature, not wind chill. We usually have a few days like this every winter. So 12-12A has seen this before and survived nicely. We do have about 10 inches of snow cover right now, and another 4 to 6 inches due to fall tonight and tomorrow.

12-3B is beautiful!
as well as 12-17
The 13-10 series with Super Hero sure are different then I would have guessed. No gold edges on these.
16-34 Nice soft colors.
16-62 Nice form and hot beard, I love it.
16-1 Great Form, and a nice burst of brilliant color in the blush.

Loving the landscape pictures. Where are the cows???? Rolling on the floor laughing

12-3B Is nice
12-17 Are the tips of the beard really fuzzy (and light blue)?
12-20 Great form
13-10C Like the color
16-34 Would like to see a more developed bloom of this one
16-62 I like the light lavender it has in it
16-48 Nice form
16-1 I like the peachy pink it has in the standards

You have a beautiful home and garden. Just look at that view! Thank you for sharing your seedling photos with us. I always look forward to and enjoy this thread (along with the photo thread from your trip to Cali).

I know you want to know which ones stand out and which ones we would order. So I'll go through them all again later and list them.

12-3 (B) absolutely beautiful
12-17 love it, very soft Lovey dubby
12-20 nice ruffles, appears to age well
12-40 I like how it fades, it makes it look like there is a mixture of irises growing together
12-34 love the softness of the yellow
12-78 almost looks like two different iris
13-10 C Awesome! Lovey dubby
14-10 B the standards have the brightest white I think I've ever seen
14-10 A I love the hint of lavender, and the hint of yellow, plus the slightly darker yellow streak down the falls
16-62 very appealing
16-48 soft and delicate
16-1 simply stunning Lovey dubby

12-3B( Terracotta Bay X Class Ring) Oh this one jumps out at you for sure! My favorite of the bunch. Love the form and how much the blue glows in the shade.

[b] This one is really pretty too but doesn't have as much pizazz as 12-3B. Love that it has Brilliant Ideas' beards.

16-48 (Magnamious X (Ride The Waves X Just Witchery) I like it's form and the colors.

12-20 stands out for me. I like ruffles that aren't too floppy in the standards - and good form. Color looks interesting too. And the veining.
16-34 has such subtle shading - as Leslie mentioned, a photo of it in the sun would be desirable.

I had a great time in California again Smiling always fun to get away for a few days and visit friends. The bloom season was late this year so I missed out on the later things at Joes and at Napa but was able to see some awesome seedlings and this years intro's. I thought I had all of the pictures from California on the laptop with me but not the case so will update the other few when I get back but for now here are some of Joe's Lovey dubby

Evelyn.. It is a seedling of mine didn't get a close up picture of it this year.

Teri.. Thank You !

Debra.. I I agree with Tom especially Love (Butterscotch Bliss)Give me some more options please for 12-12A we need to send that name to Tom Burseen nodding it will fit right along with his names nodding 12-3B The one you like is doing well but don't have a lot of it anymore but saved all of them this year it was popular with the garden clubs.

Tom.. 80 degrees with a slight breeze out of the west here today and the ocean looked like a lake Big Grin I shouldn't laugh because Ill be back in the frozen part of the world next week and I'm not looking forward to it. The 13-10 plants not sure about them really liked the other seedlings that bloomed from it but none of them survived C is my favorite it is the one with the different colored foilage will see what it looks like in the spring. No Cows this year Rolling on the floor laughing but the next time we will have Steaks for a long time.

Rob..Thanks ! It was a tough summer keeping up with it I always thought it would be great to have lot's of acres until you have to take care of it :smily:
12-17.. is a very good grower for me and a late bloomer the beards open blue but I don't think it is any different then a lot of others on the market what I like about it for me is it grows anywhere and one of the last to bloom coming from Terracotta Bay so using it for breeding.
16-34.. A couple more pics
Thumb of 2019-01-28/ARUBA1334/200689 Thumb of 2019-01-28/ARUBA1334/0a9423

12-17.. another pic
Thumb of 2019-01-28/ARUBA1334/4cee32

Barbara.. wonderful descriptions Thank You ! I'm glad you liked them.
16-1 was the 1st of the Heavenly Host kids to bloom for me really excited to see the seedlings from it.

Leslie.. 12-3B is really nice in a clump I lost a lot of it in 2017 but had a couple bulbs saved it's growing well I think I planted back 12 or so looking forward to seeing all of those in a 2 year clump.

12-34.. kept for the Beards one of my favorites from Kieth is Brilliant Idea this has those beards and they catch your attention.

16-48...Had form and a stem Smiling and I left it in place should be really nice in May.

16-34 ..No sun pictures of it I didn't get to see much it burned up in the heat quickly maybe this year.

Jan.. 12-20 is my Dad's favorite really nice big flower with beards but so far not enough buds it's in 2 year plantings this year should find out what it's got.

Jane.. Thank You.. 13-78 saved for breeding I like the parents and I don't have either of them anymore so hoping something fun will come out of it.

Debra - the names make me think of the western story we had last year along with pastries. Rolling on the floor laughing I love Tell Tale Heart as a name, though it makes me think of the Poe story of that name.
