if the vine makes it thru winter (zone 9) do you prune hard or just cut off any damage and let her rip!

Black-Eyed Susan Vine (Thunbergia alata) can be pruned and the cut stems can be rooted for additional plants. Depending on what type of weather you get during winter, you might want to take cuttings now to insure that you have plants for next season in case the original one freezes.
