Thanks for the Article! As a gardener, I shared your frustration with the ubiquitous vinyl hoses. My solution was very similar to yours, however, living in Florida, I also found that the sun and heat were breaking down the vinyl.

So I bought a hot water hose instead. Heavier to drag around as it's also rubber, but I don't have worry about the sun melting it. And it doesn't kink.

Living in Phoenix where temps reach 115, the Flexogen has worked beautifully. I'm glad you found a great hose too, Carolyn!
