Scott, that is a nicely marked A. Fasciata, the purple middle is quite interesting. Thumbs up

This is N. 'Treasure chest' offset growing up nicely, I just took two more offsets off mom and potted them up, still one more on mom not big enough to be removed. This is one Neo that starts out with the nice color and keeps it till it blooms. Prolific too.

Good color on Treasure Chest Sherri, how large does that one get?

Mom has about a 12 inch spread, I'd say they're medium sized. I see them for sale at Lowe's and Home Depot here.

I am posting photos of this mystery here for the first time in hopes that someone may recognize it.
This was one of the many Bromeliads left by the previous home owners and has been growing in the garden for over 21yrs. I have never given this one much thought as I never thought it was attractive. I potted a couple up last fall and moved it out of the deep shade it has called home for many years. I have never seen this one in flower, but I think it maybe a Neoregelia
Leaf length 20" x 1.5 wide. Any thoughts?

No idea, Scott, but looking like the sun is coloring it up. I have a few that have that kind of red splotching but more on the whole leaf. Manoa Beauty is one, but has red tips. Gator is another one, but much wider leaves. Both are Neos.

Snapped a Pic of Neoregelia '696' in the rain today as it heads towards the flowering stage.

I enjoyed reading and seeing pretty pictures of bromeliads. So I stepped out on this sunny day and found this treat, 2 Bromeliad blooms!
