Loving dwarf iris is a fairly new thing for me. For a few years it was tall bearded all the way. That was until some generous members sent me some littles, and then I bought a few, and then I discovered that half a wine barrel made a good "raised bed" for the littles. What are your favorite dwarves?

Thank you, Bonnie!

Hopefully, G & G will make some increases! Very nice photos of it by Leslie.
It was planted here last year, and I'm hoping to see a bloom in the spring.

Jan - it was a good grower while I had it so hope you get nice blooms! It is really a sweet iris.

As for my favorites? Oh my. I will have to think, but my very favorite for some reason is Inner Space. I love dwarfs with the round form, and this one has an interesting mix of color. And always looks so sweet.

Hands down: Teagan. I keep cutting on it to share with others and the clump just keeps growing. It's my Clarence of the SDB world. It has blue, it has green and just encompasses Spring for me. Also it blooms in abundance.

I think the people who grow Irises are about as special as the flower itself!

I think I saw on this forum in the various blooming threads that Teagan is a prolific rebloomer? YES please! Shrug!

Hippie, Autumn Jester is cute! I need to purchase some of the Spoons' tiny rebloomers and bloomers. I'm sure it would help appease me when nothing is blooming after around September by having a tiny one bloom!

Monty - the Spoons' iris should do really well for you being VA born. They take a year to establish themselves here but then do very well.
