Please take the time to finish your profile. Listing your state and hardiness zone will help with trading plant material.
Also members are kind of cautious when new members come on garden.org and start requesting trades right off the bat. You would likely see more interest in your request if you would post regularly on a few forms and get to know the community a little better. Stick around and if you are active on garden.org I'm sure next year others would be more than willing to trade with you.
Offering postage was kind of you, some new members don't even offer that. Sometimes in June - August you'll see members selling irises they usually run about $3-$5 each. to see what members are offering you can check the classifieds https://garden.org/forums/view... I've got many great plants from the classifieds but this time of year not too many people are selling anything.
Good Luck finding what you are looking for and welcome to Garden.org Welcome!

Thanks for your response. I'll check it out the selling section for Iris. Honestly, I joined this group mostly for plants/seeds swap.

Yes I know there are might some ppl suspisious to new members requesting for plants. As you see I offered my overgrown plants to swap. Not requested anything for free. I am an oldtimer garden swap person.

I am a member in Gardenweb (changed to Houzz n then now dissapeared, I'm trully missed Gardenweb) and DaveGarden. It was in 2003 or something. I was actively swapped and gaveaway plants/seeds some years ago at those both groups. Those days prior Facebook took over sosmed 😁 Now, I am more active in FB garden groups, mostly at the swapping groups.

I found this website when I searched for Iris, the plant I started to love this year. Hopefully, I'll find new garden friends here as I hope to find my old friends from the retire site gardenweb as well.

Happy gardening.

Welcome! I miss Gardenweb too, been a member there for years. Lots of issues with Houzz. I thought at first I would get used to it, but I guess they are more focused on making money than working on the forums. Great folks here though.

Thanks Nancy. True, I get lost at Houzz, the Garden Swap forum. It seem all gone. I am familiar with your name, we might have done some swaps back then,

At this old age, I hope I can learn to navivate this new group, and looking forward to swapping plants soon as my garden getting crowded yet never stop to collect more new plants.

Happy gardening.

You will get the hang of it quickly. I knew when I started here that there was a plant and seed swap, but failed to actually find it til this fall 😖. We may very well have traded there, I did a lot of swaps. There are still trade forums there, but hard to find so not used as much.
