I'm back finally, just with a second account. I've tried for months to get back into my account - log in to no avail. Yesterday I finally created a second email account and new NGA account and I still couldn't get in. The site would not send me an email regarding the log in for my original acct or the link to activate the new account. I finally just gave up and went to bed. Now this morning I'm automatically logged into my new account. Can someone please help me get back into my old account so I don't have to re-up all of my plants? Yes, I did email at the help button but still have not received any info from them. I'm baffled and believe the problem may be on NGA side as I've tried 2 different email accounts, different browsers, and checked all spam folders. Funny thing is I still get the newsletter at my original email account. I'm am so glad to be back on the site though. I have missed talking everything daylilies! Thanks for any help - Susie

@jon, or @dave, can someone tell us how to get back to her original account or at least to all her info?

That user doesn't exist. Without your old username, it isn't possible to get your info back.

Would the user name have been deleted, or would it still be included in the user name list here on the site so she might refresh her memory by looking over the list?

It wouldn't have been deleted. Here is the memberlist, but it is very large (50k+)

There's no way to cross reference it with her email address? That's kind of unfortunate. That's how you get back into most places when you forget your username.

Short answer yes, I can cross reference with her email, however, I did that, and there is only 1 account with her email registered. And that is her 2nd account. This means that her other account didn't use her current email, or it didn't have an email associated with it at all. If she really was a member for years she would surely remember her username.

Have you tried entering your zip code in the "Search By Location" box? That might narrow it down so you'll see a user name you remember.

If she's still getting the newsletter at the original email address, then that would be the email address to try for a match presumably (rather then the one for the new account).

Daylilyfreak, did you upload any pictures to the database that you might recognize as yours? They would have your old username on them. Or do you remember any posts you made to forums?

Yes, she simply needs to go to the "Forgot your password" page and paste in the email address of the original address. It'll then email her the login credentials for the username associated with that email.

Sue, Thank You! I'm back into my original account. I searched through last springs daylily forums and found where I had posted. For some reason I used the first half of my email as my username...lovegrillin. I have now written down my user name and password so that this never happens again.

I was not a member for years...only months. I joined Feb 7 2018. Thanks to all who tried to help me. I won't be making this mistake again...Lesson learned. Hurray!
