Hi Evelyn, nice to meet you! Thanks for the thumbs up and the welcome. I live north of Sac up by Redding. Little town called Cottonwood. I'm crazy about these luminata iris, any info on which do best and if any to avoid? I had Spirit World but it didn't make it through my huge debacle of 2019 when I killed half my irises by spraying for fungus when they had brought up bloom stalks. The blooms all turned white then the rhizomes rotted. Ugh. I'm still babying some rescues so I'm not sure how many I lost. Also lost a dozen roses. Expensive lesson.

Just an update from NoCal. We have 107 yesterday and Elizabethan Age has managed to open every bloom the first year after planting. We've had 100 degrees us, seems like for weeks and this iris has really performed. I think it's blossoms are a little smaller and maybe a little faded looking but it's definitely a real trouper!

Wow! you still have blooms on this iris! Smiling In hundred degree heat and only a year old. This iris is much tougher than I am! Hilarious! I wonder if it will settle down to a more typical bloom time in a year or two?
