Sue, My 'Crimson King' is blooming now (again!).. I couldn't tell the difference between that and 'Eleanor Roosevelt', until someone pointed out that Eleanor's beards were tipped blue. Both bloom early, and rebloom a lot (C.K. more)

Joe Ghio says 'Milk in My Coffee' blooms all the time. His soil is better than mine.. I've only had one autumn bloom while it was in a pot... I've got it *somewhere* in the ground now. Hoping it will be more appreciative and reward me with blooms "all the time".

The TB's I have blooming aren't worthy of photos yet... too much water Sticking tongue out

But a couple of the SDB's have popped into bloom.
'Flower Shower' has been so rewarding.. a gift from one of the member here a few years back. I'm grateful :acorn:

Barbara: Thank you!!! I would love a piece of Milk in my Coffee. But I never split an Iris until it has grown a few years so please don't compromise it. Next year would be fine too

Elsa, I put your name by Milk in my Coffee.

Barbara ~ I just got Milk in My Coffee last year, so I am looking forward to seeing it bloom. Does it bloom the first year?

Since we have had so much rain, and are still having rain, I wonder what effect it will have on the blooms this year. Maybe the rhizomes will grow more...not sure. As long as they don't rot!

I got it last year, potted it up, and it did bloom for me this year, and it's still potted. Hurray!

My coffee is still black, so there's no stalk adding milk to it. For being planted in October, it does seem to be growing well. Crossing Fingers!

Last year I didn't see any blooms until May 10th. Who knows what this year will bring.

I just hope we continue to have nice weather, once it warms up this year. It will be a treat, for sure!

Right now I am looking for better weather. I have made good progress on the weeding, but I have yet to apply fertilizer. (I didn't want to fertilize the weeds!)

I know eventually we will get some more sunshine. I just hope when it gets sunny that it stays cool enough to enjoy it for a while.

So far some small crocuses have come and gone and one lonely daffodil bloom is bent over from the rain. So many more to come up.

Thanks Sherry, I will have to then see if a rebloom is just something I missed and it truly is Crimson King.

I have long labeled my small early iris as Kochii but did not realize that it was another name for Crimson King.

Barbara - May I beg a piece of Milk in My Coffee, too? Big Grin

I am loving the blooms, everyone. I still do not see any stalks on my TBs, but I believe some of my new littles are growing stalks! Pardon my inexperience...not 100% on what to expect from a small bearded iris. I'm grown and cultured on TBs...but I still love the littles even if I have yet to see one bloom!

Barbara: First off Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! However I am nervous with you taking a rhizome from such a newbie. I lost one doing that!! I just happened to run across it at a vendors I was going to place an order to, so I will order it.

Sheri: Thanks for the pointers on Elenore Roosevelt. I love you Blue Oasis!!!

Sherry ~ What little daisy flower is that? An erigeron? It's a bit early for an aster...I love daisies of all kinds...they go together so well.

Monty, when it's ready to divide I'll send you a piece. I might be next year or the following year.
