Yes, we got lots of snow this year, but the big difference is we usually get a few warm spells in the winter and some melting. That didn't happen this year.

Boy, Valerie, that could mean flooding if you don't get some brief warm spells soon! Blinking Blinking

Wasn't just NGA having site problems, DG was kicking me out when I signed in. No problem. Gotta get out and plant some radishes today...now that I have a place to do it. Butterflies are showing up down here, eastern tiger swallowtail, a monarch look alike and a few others like sulphurs.
Should you go first, and I remain, to walk the road alone- I'll live in Memory's garden, dear, with happy days we've known.

Thanks! Yes, we love our house.
We are on a high hill, so won't flood, but for low lying areas, I hope the melt is slow.

Valerie, your house and property looks awesome, and boy, you sure do have a lot of snow. But with a few warm sunny days it's amazing how quickly it will melt. It was 57 F here again today, I know it won't last as this is not normal. Sighing!

Thank you, Margaret. When I was plowing through the snow, it was very wet and icy. It is losing its structure, not like snow in winter when it is so cold. I agree, a few warm days and it would melt fast.

The folks that are doing maple syrup would like our current weather to continue, though. Days above freezing and then below freezing at night are perfect for sap.

Can't post photos for some reason so I can't show the tulips, daffodils, or other bulbs. Confused
Homestead verbena is in full bloom, I got it for Ma but it's won me over.
Camellias, coreopsis, delosperma, and a couple random petunias are blooming.
All the pretty little weeds are also doing well. Who doesn't enjoy field pansies or Wild violettes?
