This tree survived a 4 day streak of minus 22 degrees F during its second winter after planting. It seems to be able to set fruit even after 4 or 5 mornings with temps below freezing while in bloom. The fruit is sweet and juicy and holds up well in canning. I recommend this tree for Northern growers who have not been able to grow other varieties of peaches. It requires thinning if you want larger fruit.
