I also knew at once what the blooms are. When I lived in Austin we had a 'tulip tree' right outside the front door. Although I miss it, I'm happy to have a Magnolia grandiflora that covers my whole front yard.

So anyway, it was a delight to logon and see your lovely banner gracing the top of my screen. Thanks for sharing.
