First bloom of the year, it was about 2 weeks ago, I have several scapes already, I am getting really excited, some of my seedlings from 2018 amd 2017 are looking really good, maybe they will bloom this year.
Show me your blooms, nothing like seeing beautiful flowers, everyday.

First blooms for me this year, as usual it is Siloam Double Classic setting the pace. It's a real powerhouse in this climate, even though it's classed as a dormant variety. It keeps its foliage all year for me, never gets rusty, and re-blooms 3 or 4 times in our long, warm season.

Marks Bouquet bloomed and is waiting for me when I get home. The DW sent a photo, but I'll get a better one after I arrive from being on the road again this week.

Edit to add photo.

Elaine - That's pretty high praise for Siloam Double Classic. I'm glad I didn't get rid of it when I redid some beds. It's often the first to bloom here, but it hasn't rebloomed since the first year I got it - more than 20 years ago.

Dixiebelle - What the name of your first bloom?

Siloam Double Classic

I had to go back and look at the ones that I got this year. I dont keep up with the names of each ones. I tried that a few years ago, and all my name tags got washed away with a hurricane.

I have been gone a week, but did have some blooms while away. The one I am most excited about was 'Pleated Perfection'
my first bloom ever to show some well defined Relief.

So, that kitchen bud bloomed and it is indeed Patio Parade. The one bud made a 5+" flower- totally
happy-making as it's registered at 6".

First ever bloom (and likely the only one, unless I get it in some dirt!)

Here are a couple that were blooming this morning:
This is the first bloom I have had on this plant, it is a small yellow bloom, was given as a bonus plant: Not one I would have chosen, but we shall see how it performs. It was the first plant to bloom in this particular bed this year, so that is a positive.

This plant came from the same garden (Peace On Earth Gardens)and was also given to me : This has become one of my favorite plants because it performs so well.
'Filled With Joy':
Thumb of 2019-04-19/Seedfork/b66ad4
'Paper Butterfly': The early blooms are not opening all that well yet on most of the ones that are blooming now.
Thumb of 2019-04-19/Seedfork/9a43a3
'Orange Electric': Also not opening fully, but this is only the second bloom and it has been rainy and windy and cloudy most of the morning.

Quite a few plants had blooms on them this morning, but we have had a cold front move in over the past few days and temps are pretty cool here now, common for Easter. The temp. was down in the fifties again this morning. So even the plants that have now had several blooms on them already are still not opening fully with the temp. staying down. I guess I need more EMO plants.
One plant that did open fully and looked beautiful this morning was Helix.

Some not opening fully:
'Femme Fatale': This plant has had a half dozen blooms already, but still they are held back by the cool temps.

'WHOOPEREE'

'TAR AND FEATHER' Looking very good this year, one of my favorites last year.
Thumb of 2019-04-21/Seedfork/1d8fae
'Royal Eventide': This one is an early bloomer each year and has had several blooms. I divided the plant last year and it is doing great again already.
Thumb of 2019-04-21/Seedfork/8f85a1
'Red Apparition':
Thumb of 2019-04-21/Seedfork/cc160f

I posted a photo earlier of 'Siloam Double Classic' as a single, this morning I had this bloom looking more like a double the way it should.
Thumb of 2019-04-21/Seedfork/0e1057
'Debbie Durio' The bloom is open, but the color is not as bright as normal with the temps down low still.
Thumb of 2019-04-21/Seedfork/13a16f
I think this year with the seedlings and new plants I will not be able to post them all when they bloom. The seedling beds are just starting to show a few blooms.
Thumb of 2019-04-21/Seedfork/682388
Just like the named varieties, they are not opening fully or the colors are not very bright.
Here is one just as an example: hope it brightens up a lot.
Thumb of 2019-04-21/Seedfork/eb8bed
I do finally have a few other than yellow starting to open now, and some tall red ones I will check again later this afternoon. I do hope they open fully and are look bright and cheerful.
