Rita, all the shots are lovely and I especially like the composition of the second photo in Thursday's grouping. ![]() It’s okay to not know all the answers. |

Thanks! I like to take shots of the garden beds to show how everything looks. |

Rita, I love looking at your garden beds that show how everything looks just as much as looking at individual flowers. |

Do people walking down the sidewalk stop and look and comment, I know I would? Great garden shots, I like them best. It is so hard to take garden shots here because of all the tags. Dot |

Lovely as usual Rita! |

Thank you Cindy. Margaret and Dot. ![]() Dot, no tags here as I don't hybridize. I just want pretty flowers for the garden. Yes, people just walking by do comment. I get lots of compliments. I also see passersby taking pictures of the front gardens. |

Do you run out every morning to dead-head? That must be quite a chore! Betty |
Newyorkrita Jul 1, 2012 12:23 PM CST |
No Betty. I never headhead unless I need to for a closeup. And even then maybe not. I can't imagine how many hours it would take me to deadhead everything that is here. |

Rita does that mean that you are going to have a lot of seedlings in with your named dayliles?? |
Newyorkrita Jul 1, 2012 12:59 PM CST |
No Mararet. I do make sure I snap off seed pods if they form large pods. And after all the daylilies on each scape are done, I cut the entire scapes which often has green seed pods. They never get to mature around here. I don't want them to drop seeds. |

That must be quite a project also. |
