See the interesting article about Zone changes due to climate change. It is about Colorado but think it applies to all. I checked Denver and the old maps say 5b the new map for my zip code says 6-7.

My zone stayed the same so far. Wow, that gives you a bunch more plant types you can grow. Hurray!
