Hello,

Can you tell me what is happening with my plant here? These are bulbs I planted about 2 weeks ago, unfortunately I do not remember what kind they are! I bought them at the Philadelphia Flower Show and they are supposed to produce beautiful round shaped purple flowers.

It was doing great until the other day when the leaves all fell - as shown in picture.

Please help!

My first thought is something isn't right with the amount of water they are receiving. How often are you watering them?

I was watering, from the bottom of pot about 1 - 2 x a week, depending on how much it took the first time i watered it.

I think allium leaves are just a bit unkempt looking. Here's a pic of my allium purple sensations...a bit messy but the flower buds are beginning to come up.

ok - so do you think I should plant them outdoors in the ground then? and how do you manage yours? as far as watering, etc.
