Plant ID forum: I need help identifying this plant.

I was walking through the park in Texas. This plant is located in Houston Texas, Harris County. I do not know what type of plant this is. I found it in a deciduous wood type place. If there is anybody that knows what it is then that will be fine? It looks like this. Just focus on the first two pictures. The third one is a mess up.

It looks like a type of Palmetto that grows in wet areas around here.

Agree with the above, a palm tree. Down here in South Florida, it is called a Cabbage palm tree, quite common, Sabal palmetto.
