I have had this shrub for ever in my garden and would like to buy one identical as a gift for someone. I think it is viburnum but cannot find images which match with leaves as well as flower. Please help?

Looks like Viburnum x burkwoodii.
Or on of the named cultivars..such as V. x burkwoodii Mohawk or V. x burkwoodii Park Farm Hybrid.
Flowers scented.

Thanks for your reply Silversurfer. It doesn't tend to show any pink in the buds. I think they are more green before they change to white. It is highly scented and does flower early spring. Seems to stay quite small however

OK .....not pink in bud.
Then it must be Viburnum "Eskimo"...compact/slow.
