Thread OP
Any ideas on what to plant in between our back patio steps? Small tree, bushes, something else? (9 feet wide by 5 feet deep. Top step is 4 feet high. West-facing, so gets afternoon sun) Thank you so very much!!

Rose, weigela, or mix it up with perennials. Tallest plants against the house and shortest ones in the front. That would provide a variety of color and texture in there.
