That is very, very nice. So much color in a small space just using foliage. I really like it! |

Hi Lois, so glad you found our site. Would love to see more photos of your containers. You planted the birdcage in such a creative way. I love the different colors, textures and sizes. Do you grow a lot of succulents? |

goldfinch4 said:Hi Lois Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I extended the bottom of the cage with an hardware cloth basket cut and bent to size. Lined it with moss and filled with potting soil. I originally filled it with lobelia but it dried out way to fast. Last summer I tried succulents. A few from here and there stuck in. Mostly cuttings. I love succulents and have collected quite a few and propagated them, or they have propagated themselves ![]() Lois |
You definitely have a way with succulents. ![]() |

Loved seeing your birdcage garden! Last night I bought a wire basket and was thinking it would be good for succulents. Maybe someday it will look as great as yours. 👀😁😂 - SMILE! -☺😎☻☮👌✌∞☯🐣🐦🐔🐝🍯🐾 The less I interfere, the more balance mother nature provides. 👒🎄👣🏡🍃🍂🌾🌿🍁❦❧ 🍃🍁🍂🌾🌻🌸🌼🌹🌽❀☀🌺 ☕👓 The only way to succeed is to try. |
