|supercold winter, and our beautiful 10 year old snowflake viburnnum is not leafing out except right at the base.
Anything I can do to revive it?

|Use your thumbnail to scratch the bark to see if there is green below. If it is green, it will resprout!
Without green, the twig/ branch is most likely dead. Keep pruning downward until you get to viable growth.
They sprout like crazy! You may have lost most of the top growth but obviously the roots are fine.

|I'm in NW IN and had a lot of winter damage this year. Caryopteris had to be cut back almost to the ground. Deutzie ( a few) suffered some branch loss. Doublefile viburnum is very slow to leaf out in spots. I'm waiting out some of them before pruning. Weird winter.
