Hello there! I am new to this site and semi new to gardening. I have a lot to learn, but enjoy it!

I'm in desperate need of help with the landscaping in the front of my house. As you can see, I have three large Limelight's. One is huge and the others not so much. I think they're too crowded. What to you think?

I also hate the grinch looking plant I have in the corner. Everything else is a mess too.

I am willing to add or tear it all out if need be. I just hope to get done great ideas from you all.

Can someone please help me with my landscaping?!? I live in Lower Michigan.

Thanks so much!

According to me the LImelight plants look over crowded. I would advise you to remove the plants as soon as possible. Thereafter, you can plant other decorative shrubs like Smokebush, Redbud Tree, River Birch Tree, Azalea, Korean Lilac, etc.
To be honest, the lawn grass also looks dull and uneven. You should mow the lawn to an even grass length. You can also call an expert for lawn services! Visit here,

I most certainly would not plant a tree that close to your house, river birch trees get very huge. Starting with shrubs rather than trees, make sure the mature size will fit into the space without looking crowded or to tall. Some nurseries will look at a photo of your home and give you ideas of what to plant to get the look you want. Take your time and get shrubs that are pleasing to your eye.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!

What a cute little house! Make the people at the nursery consider a lilac! Probably a dwarf variety. Oo and check out a Red twig dogwood, those are fun to plan with because they leave a red Skelton in winter.
