I can send you a photo when I receive your email. This plant,bought at a nursery has taken over my garden and is now growing out into the lawn.!

Aww...though I do not know that plant, I would not eradicate it..I love colorful leaves like that. Lovey dubby Pretty much winter will kill it naturally too eventually.

chameleon plant, stinks and spreads like crazy. I finally got rid of mine by using round up. I painted it on the leaves using a paint brush, mix as directed. You will need repeat applications probably. It is difficult to get rid of once it establishes. Very invasive.

While chameleon plant looks nice at the nursery, it's a trick!
Very aggressive... Has similar stolons as mint, but much worse.
In fact, it's called "fish mint".
Apparently edible...
Has reverted to green in one of my gardens... Still stinks, still aggressive... Just green.

Might be able to get the garden back by covering entire bed with fabric... But... Might not...
Re the lawn?
Set the mower at the highest setting.
Or stop mowing.
