Many thanks Shannon, Cindy, and Margaret. Your comments are
very much appreciated. This year has been the worst I have seen
for plants. We need rain badly. The hot early spring caused these
flowers to begin the bloom season a month early. Then a month
of too cool temps caused them not to open correctly.

Now, with a week or so of high temps, they have not had enough
time to properly develop their large ruffly edges for the most part.
Some are just beginning to develop nice edges, but they are way
past peak bloom. Without enough water, and they definitely prefer
rainwater, they are not likely to rebloom very well either, so this
is why I am saying the worst season ever.

I am grateful for the blooms I have. I wait all year to see them do
their thing, and maybe next season will be better.

Rita, you are making me laugh. I can hardly wait to see your veggies
produce. Those lush, beautiful gardens of yours are such a joy to
behold. Most things here are burning up without any rain, and we
can't water everything. But, I can look at yours and enjoy.

Well, I started off by wanting to comment on the pupley seedling Palace Garden Beauty x Memphis 6in (an experiment) because I thought it was so beautiful. But then I also flipped over the last seedling in that same batch of pictures. Then losts more lovelies and here you just added another batch. Who can pick a favorite lol?

I really am so sorry for everyone that is dry and needs rain. We have gotten lots and lots of rain here and the garden shows it. I am really looking forward to my beans, cucumbers and tomatoes this year. Thumbs up Whistling

Rita, I am looking forward to your beans, cucumbers, and tomatoes too. Had hubby
look at your garden pics as well. I said, "Look at this, so green, so beautiful, and all
that growing together." Just amazes me. Here, we have to spread the veggies out
to keep from having diseases. Probably too humid here.

Appreciate your especially nice comments, Rita. Thank you very much.

It is very humid here also on Long Island. I am just used to cramming all my plants in so of course I cram my veggies in also. Hilarious!

Rita, many of the older ones do make nice clumps. I haven't had time
to enjoy many of the large clumps. They were not the object of the
viewfinder. LOL.

Cindy, if your Linda Beck is not a clump yet, you are going to love it
when it does clump up. It is a blooming machine.
