After seeing images of C. majuscula I've been wondering which one I actually have. How do you tell the difference?

Read all about it from NPIN (Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center): http://www.wildflower.org/mobi...

ITIS says no difference, USDA Plants Database says difference.

Hi Monica, What a great link. Thank you. I'd guess I have majalis then or subsp. majalis or, ... Green Grin!

You're welcome, Evan. I hadn't known there was a "wild" population until your question...interesting to read about it.

Have to finish reading the linked sci. paper. Wonder if they did DNA testing.
