I have found someone who makes decorative plant (or other items) hangers. These are all handmade in the USA, using natural stones as well as glass, strung with stainless steel wire. The ring attachments are also stainless. Some of the natural stones used are serpentine, aventurine, obsidian, onx, jasper, feldspar, amazonite, and riverstone. These shown are 16"-18" in length with four attachment rings. Each hanger is one-of-a-kind and makes not only a beautiful and durable hanger for your plants or other items but also makes a special gift. These are priced at $45 for a single hanger, $40 per hanger for three, or $35 for six or more hangers. The photos you see are simpy examples of hangers that I purchased for my own hanging plants and as gifts. These are nothing like the cheaply made, usually foreign made, hangers that will fall apart quickly. Being strung with SS wire and having SS rings, even if used outside, they should last for years. Treat yourself or a family member/special friend with one or more of these one-of-a-kind hangers.

Can someone post a picture of a pot using these hangers. I don't quite understand what you do with them. They are lovely & special being handmade & all. Thanks for introducing them to us.

I am a vendor at craft shows where I sell mu baskets...here are some photo's from some of my shows. I generally make the hangers directly ON the baskets (and other items) I use them on. Ken wanted them seperate so he could use his own baskets so it was a custom order.

If you're using them for a different kind of hanging basket, you could put stainless steel "S" hooks on the end, to slip over the rim of the container or better yet to put through the holes used to attach the unattractive plastic hangers... some of those pots hang from 3 rather than 4, though, and I'm not sure what the max recommended weight would be... I think these aren't meant to hold up my big spider plant when it's sopping wet & probably weighs 30 pounds.

They look amazing on the orchid baskets!! Love the mounts in that last photo, too.

Since Patty makes these by hand, I assume she can make 3 or 4 strand hangers, Jill. Her baskets are made for 4, and since she (generally) sells the hangers with baskets, that's what you see. I don't know what the load capacity is, but I wouldn't think that 30 lb. challenges that limit. This is pretty heavy SS wire and rings and having multiple strands lessens the load on each strand. S-hooks would work fine but I use 22g SS wire to attach mine. That's easy.
