With Ariocarpus bravoanus ( Yeah, what a name, but was partly due to Doctor.'s surname,) & I never cared for that suffix..BUT, these lack a central fissure, like fissuratus. Go figure that one, out., as they'd looked more like agavoides when younger ..& I've heard fissuratus pronounced "fish your ate us" & "Fiss yer aw tus."..
