The plant with the yellow flowers is a variety of Wood Sorrels (Oxalis) and depending on where one lives, it may be considered a weed. Compare to:

Creeping Wood Sorrel (Oxalis corniculata)

That Oxalis shows up all over my container garden despite my best efforts to get rid of it. It flowers and sets seed relatively soon after sprouting. If you decide to try and control it, you'll have the best results if you pull it before it flowers.

Please ID this low growing woodland plant found in Ketchikan, Alaska.
About 6 inches tall, leaves 3-5-6 inches wide.

Thank you.
