I have an Apricot candy rose tree and it was beautiful in April, now all the leaves have got yellow spots, then turned brown, dried up and fell off, the tree is almost bare, what have I done to it. Please help me. I live in Northern California, the weather has been in 80-90.

Can you tell us what you have the rose planted in? How often do you water it? Have you fed the rose with any fertilizers or sprayed the rose for bugs, etc.? How much sun does the rose get all day? How long have you had this rose?

Too much heat. You have it planted against a white stucco wall that is reflecting a LOT of heat onto the rose. When it gets into the 80s and 90s the wall gets hot and the rose gets that heat radiated back at it. The wall retains the heat even at night so the rose never gets a chance to cool off. If possible the rose needs to be moved further away from the wall. If not you need to give it lots of water and spray it down to cool it off. Also try providing it with some kind of shade during the hottest part of the day.

My leaves would be withered too if I were standing next to that wall all day. Sunglasses, or a move to the back yard.
