I have just a few more for July -- and the first three are from plants that I just received from Maryott's on July 5th! And I have a few more with scapes coming up too.

RED CHILE RENDEZVOUS - A beautiful intense orange-red in our heat -- I love it!

PLAY TO WIN - Love the edges even though this isn't a perfect flower.

RENDITION - A velvety textured clear red that is a little deeper colored than my picture shows -- so glad it's not a rose tone.

LESLIE RENEE - The weather had cooled by ten degrees and this was a little deeper pink a couple of days ago than the first bloom. But it's still really pastel compared to some of those posted in the database. Hope it blooms earlier next year!

CHARIOTS OF GOLD - Another poly on the first rebloom. This is much prettier in person -- quite a large flower, good color, and I love the ruffles.

VIOLET TRANQUILITY - This has a really nice light blue eye (or is it a watermark?) that I love.

So that's it for me for July.

Thank you all for your kind comments on my plants and photos Smiling Like many of you my gardens have been a labor of love along with many sore backs. When we moved into this house 18 years ago there were no gardens at all. Lucky for me I have a husband who likes to garden and has a strong back Thumbs up Below is a pic of what my gardens look like at peak bloom.

Symphony of Praise is another of my favorites. When it and Sister of Praise first came out I thought that Sister of Praise would be the better for me since it is a dormant and Symphony of Praise is an evergreen. Well, I was wrong. Symphony of Praise has outshown Sister of Praise on all counts. Symphony of Praise is perfectly hardy up here in NH with no mulch. This plant has also turned into a very large clump and is still putting out blossoms and I noticed a rebloom scape this evening. I'm quite fond of pinks and Symphony of Praise is a lovely shade. Symphony of Praise is up for a Stout medal this year and it will definately get my vote!

Marietta Song Bird is another that I will always have in my garden. It's a late bloomer for one thing and has great substance. It just started blooming here about 2 weeks ago. I like many of John Shooter's diploids, especially those with Marietta Momento in them Thumbs up Below are a few more pics of daylilies by John that have Marietta Momento as a parent and a pic of Marietta Momento.

Betty I can see that we both like ruffles Thumbs up CHARIOTS OF GOLD is beautiful color and ruffles and I really like the watermark on VIOLET TRANQUILITY and yes, It's been my pleasure to add to the database Smiling

Life is short, enjoy the ride!

Betty, thank you for posting pictures of RED CHILE RENDEZVOUS. I had wanted to see another picture other than the hybridizer's.

Karin, your garden is beautiful. We grow Symphony of Praise, and it is a beautiful bloom. I have heard that is superior to Sister Of Praise.

Everyone has such beautiful flowers! It's really fun to see all of the different ones that everyone grows! I guess I could always look through the database, but that is really boring! So, I want to thank everyone for sharing all of their pictures!

Betty, Leslie Renee is what I'd consider to be my perfect daylily! I hope I get a seedling that looks like it some day! That's my goal anyway. Thanks for sharing that picture, because if I can't make one myself, I may just buy that one. I'm not giving up yet though!

Karin, I really love Marietta Song Bird! I had never seen it before! It's so pretty!

I love looking at everyone's flowers because it really lets me get a true look at the flower, not some photshopped edition.

Natalie, MARIETTA SONG BIRD is one I will always have in my garden. I love the fact that it's a later blooming. I think any flowers that have MARIETTA MOMENTO as a parent are very nice Thumbs up
