Always a nice addition to water features. The gardens seem more relaxed and peaceful when water lilies are in bloom, especially when fish are added such as Koi. Nice banner Casey. Thumbs up

Great banner Casey!

@greenappleagnes Casey,

What's the dark gray thing on top of the lily pad on the far left of the banner?

Could we see the full size pic please?

Marilyn and bumplbea, too funny you asked! I have no idea. When I got home and uploaded the pics I wondered what that was too. I tried to zoom in but still have no idea.

What kind of leaves are those that fell on the lily pads?
Maybe it's a nut from the trees (?)

Cal, those are oak and maple leaves, so it didn't come from those. I was originally thinking it could be a pod from a crepe myrtle blossom. Maybe? Smiling

Casey,
where is that pond?
Those narrow leaves look almost like Eucalyptus (?)

Thank you for the suggestion Marilyn! I'll look into it. Smiling

Cal, I can totally see eucalyptus now! The pic was taken in North Carolina. The skinny leaves are from a willow oak. They planted a lot of these down our street, most 80-100 years ago.

I never knew there were oaks with euc-like leaves. Blinking
