I like to add flowers to meals. I have viola, nasturtium, begonia, and others. I have only used the common yellow variety of daylily although I have other varieties. Out of the thousands of cultivars of daylily are they all edible? It would certainly add interest to a salad.

I would think all Hemerocallis are the same in non-toxicity.

Thank you, SallyG, I will be having a purple and gold salad today, with kettle chips on the side. Tom

I approve! Thumbs up

I've tasted my Hemerocallis fulva, the asian naturalized 'ditch lily' but no others. Kind of peppery.
