I found this plant next to the dumpster. It looked in good shape, so I took it. I have no idea what it is. I was told it could be a banana leaf plant, but aren't those massive? This is a bit small. Thoughts? ![]() ![]() |

Think it's a Bird of Paradise...someone will confirm. Good find. Needs a lot more light and direct sun than where you have it in the pic. |

They do awesome in part shade. 75% sun though. |

@Mardel Leaves will begin to droop and curl up if its left too dry. But as long as you water it regularly its alright. Only noticeable thing about mines is that for the past 2 years ive had it, its never bloomed. I only have leaves, which is def. OKAY with me. |
