Lilli and Pam ~ Thank You! so much for the good wishes! Group hug

I may have to modify my fall plans for the garden, and yes, they were rather extensive. Oh well. I will do what I can accordingly.

Others here have survived illness and injuries and they are doing fine now. I hope more that anything that I will be ready for the winter and spring onslaught of weeds!

I will have to just do the renovation later. Crossing Fingers!

Evelyn, I'm so sorry that you have this fracture. The third to fourth day of a fracture seems to be the worst. It should be gradually uphill from here. Often a fracture heals better than a sprain or muscle tear. So it helps to look on the bright side, even though it's painful right now. When I had my broken ribs, it was 2:00 AM on the third day, when I woke my husband and insisted he take me to the ER.

Yes, the 3rd and 4th days are the absolute worse, because the broken ends of the bones are softening, preparatory to knitting together again.Misery, I know!

Group hug

Daisy ~ Thank You! so much for your kind words and thoughts. It is a sprain and fracture, so, double pain! But every day it gets better. When I went to the doctor, my blood pressure had lowered significantly, but still there was room for improvement. But my whole calf was swollen at the time. Now it is just the foot and ankle. The knee scooter helps somewhat, as I also skinned my knee and leg to add insult to injury. nodding That is healing as well, so every day gets a little better.

I have been going through my pictures on my phone charting the order of blooms. It is taking quite a while to do this. Even though I am doing that, I don't know if I will be able to do any rearrangement of irises this coming fall. I now have a nice collection of rebloomers, and I wanted to put them all in "Iris Bed #1", but I'm not sure if I will be able to do it this fall. I thought it might be easier to give that bed a little more water and fertilizer. It will depend on how long I have to wait. I also had another big project in mind, but that might have to wait until spring. We'll see.
