Beautiful banner Valarie!

Love the intense blue of this banner. I had to come look to see what the bloomer was and who managed to get a great photo. Blues are hard for me to replicate with a camera. Very nice!
Be content moving inch by inch because, by days end, the inches, will add up to feet and yards.

Valerie,
which variety is that one?
Did you get it from a nursery, or has it gone wild
in NZ?

Our local hills are covered with Ceanothus, aka 'California Lilac'
which put on a great display if we've had decent rain.

I bought 3 varieties at the Native Plant nursery up the road a few years ago,
and they did well for 2 years, but something got them one-by-one.

The lush green leaves on yours really set off the brilliant blue blooms. Thumbs up
Worth trying again.

thankyou for the likes and comments.
Cal... I think the Ceanothus is C Yanky Point, the photo is 9 years old and the plant is long gone.
so far the Ceanothus has not gone wild here (NZ) there are many kinds and all look beautiful, they not quite out yet, what a lovely native plant you have.
