I want to trim the two lowest leaves that are also the oldest and smallest. Since I got it three weeks ago it's clear the environment in my home has made it happy and it pops out baby leaves constantly and they grow to be so much larger! Would it be ok to trim them? Will it prompt branching?

@Floreal - I have split your question off from the previous thread and gave it its very own title!!
You can certainly trim the lower leaves but there appears to be no reason to do so - they look healthy. The plumeria will branch after it blooms, taking off the leaves will not help this.

Winter is on it's way though, my humidity level has already dropped by twenty in the house. Going to try a humidifier in the plant area. The pebble tray doesn't do much, even on the heat mat. Temps should stay pretty steady, maybe the lowest is 65 on really cold days.
