I assume you mean you have a pup that needs removing from your old sago? Get your gloves on and wiggle the pup until it pulls off, or else cut the narrow base. If you are going to plant the pup, then you will have to allow it to harden for a week in the shade before planting. After a week you can put it in a small pot about 2 inches larger than the pup.
