So here's some of my garden. much better success rate then last year, lol. Last year I killed everything in the garden except the grass! My soil is in rough shape but have been adding composted manure as I go....but it still is lacking alot of nutrients. But i'll get it there soon enough.
I've had to add lime around my tomato plants because of blossom end rot.....so while I was at it I threw some near the peppers too......wanted gypsum but all i could find was lime, they really needed that calcium!
For tomatos I have Rose, and Sakura. and the rest of the list: peas, broccoli, celery, beets, onions, carrots, bush beans, spinach, lettuce, winter squash, pumpkin, cucumber, and strawberries. plus cilantro and oregano....and some flowers :)

Tom:

Your garden looks awesome! Thanks for sharing your photos with us.

It does take a long time to get soil amended. I live an area with lots of heavy clay....I've been in my home 17 years and some areas still need help!!!!

Keep up your great work, and continue to share with us please.

Nice garden Tom, Does that fence keep out the rabbits? I'm haveing trouble with them this year. It's been so dry that they are converging on my garden for food. I can't get beans this year, they keep eating them off before they barely get up. Lost all of my Sweet Potatoes, I think to a ground hog.

thanks for all the kind words Smiling . the fence does keep out alot of critters. if you look beside the oak tree you'll see i have a mound going on there with winter squash and bush beans...... so far nothing has touched those except for the squirrels falling out of the tree a wiping out two of the squash plants and all the acorns they knock loose.....putting holes all through my winter squash and melons..... i forgot to mention i planted melons in tires just outside the back of the fenced in garden. figured the black tires would help keep soil temps up and i used black plastic trash bags over the top of the soil to help keep the moisture in with a few holes poked in it to let water in Big Grin
